Our second visit to Planet Telemark!

One binding to flex them all

We completely reimagined our historic Newmark binding from way back in 2016, now lighter, smarter, and packed with brand new features, all in true ATK style:

ONE BINDING, ALL NTN SIZES

The Newmark is available in a single version compatible with all NTN sole lengths. The module is easily adjustable for S and L sizes by selecting the correct position of the NTN hook and the dedicated module support mounted on the toe piece, allowing a single binding to fit the entire range of NTN boots.

HARD KIT, SOFT KIT

The Newmark moves effortlessly across the full spectrum of telemark skiing styles. Whether you’re looking for elegance and smooth turns in the backcountry, or powerful, aggressive carving on groomed slopes, it’s built to meet both demands.

The Newmark comes equipped with soft springs as standard. However, it also includes a stiffer spring kit directly in the box. Switching between setups is simple: unscrew the rear caps of the NTN module, remove the installed springs, replace them with the alternative set, and then screw the caps back on.

REMOVABLE NTN MODULE

In uphill mode, the NTN module can be removed and carried in a pocket or backpack. This delivers a real advantage, because weight on the foot requires more energy than the same weight carried in the backpack, which is transported continuously rather than being lifted and accelerated at every step.

Fully CNC machined

All structural components are machined from full aluminum blocks, for a total weight of just 255g on the uphill with the NTN module detached

Patented technologies

Thanks to our experience in the full-pin bindings world we were able to design the Newmar toe piece to avoid any annoying snow build up around the closing mechanism

The specific robust six screw toe piece mounting pattern is compatible with the M06 drilling jig, so no extra hustle for your friendly ski techs!

When conditions get tough, maintaining proper Telemark technique is not always possible. That is where the Newmark Freelock adds another level of versatility. With Telemark boots equipped with a dedicated rear insert, the system allows a safe emergency descent, while remaining fully compatible with alpine touring boots.

Its versatility goes beyond boot compatibility. The same ski setup can be used for Telemark, alpine touring and alpine skiing, reducing the need for dedicated skis for each discipline. One platform, three ways to ski, with the flexibility to adapt to changing terrain, conditions and skiing styles.
